Pro-Macedonian rally call: Organisers release official video (video)

The Committee for Struggle of the Hellinicity of Macedonia released their official call for Sunday’s rally at Syntagma Square in Athens against the Prespes Agreement.

The call:

“Greeks be at Syntagma for Macedonia! On Sunday, January 20, at 2 o’clock, we are waging the greatest battle. We all take our share of responsibility in the face of history. We attend the Great Rally.
In Syntagma Sunday, at 2 pm All Greeks will be there, outside the Greek Parliament, to cancel the treacherous agreement of Prespes, to shout Macedonia is Greek!”

NOTED HELLENES: Nikos Skalkottas the overlooked musical genius

This year's marks the 70th anniversary of the death of the great Greek composer Nikos Skalkottas (1904-1949), and in the context of the Year 2060, the Athens Concert Hall is organizing a series of events - concerts, exhibitions, lectures, publications, recordings, etc. to further promote his important work to future generations and to give new impetus to its research and dissemination.

Greek Foreign Ministry responds to Russian commentary on Prespa Agreement

The citation of political developments in the domestic affairs of friendly countries by the Russian Foreign Ministry "overlooks the coordinated and effective democratic function of institutions in Greece," the Greek Foreign Ministry said, in response to statements that the decision for a name change of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) was "imposed from the outside."
