A breach measuring 1.5 m. in length with another five cracks surrounding it on the right side of the hull of the sunken tanker "Agia Zoni II" were detected experts, and registered by the prosecutor, when the ship came under scrutiny after being raised and taken to Ambelakia, on Salamis.
A camera captured all the cracks while the ship was still submerged, and the pictures were brroadcast by television stations.
The divers indicated the 1.5-meter-long breach and the holes at five points of the ship.
On the one side, the direction of the breach is outward, while on the other side, which also has a hole, the direction is inward.
Shipowner Theodoros Kountouris speaks of a malicious act, while the engineer has testified that just before the ship started to list, he heard a loud bang.
