Political stability more important than tax system for businesses
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Greek and foreign companies transferring their activities from Greece to Bulgaria and other countries in the region "is not so much a question of taxation as political stability," said Deputy Foreign Minister Ioannis Amanatidis in statements to "Praktorio 104.9 FM."
Amanatidis also estimated that the lifting of capital controls will clear obstacles and the serious difficulties and stressed the importance of a stable tax system.
Regarding the social security reforms, he said that this is an issue of discussions which are made with the employees and reassured that main pensions will not be reduced.
"There have to be solutions that will provide for solidarity and safeguard pensions," he added.
