Tsipras: February is a critical month

The government will be ready for the evaluation by the institutions, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Thursday during a brief discussion with reporters at Maximos Mansion.
The prime minister noted that February will be a critical month as "the issues of social security reforms, bad loans and the medium-term plan are ahead." However, he expressed optimism that the government will be ready for the evaluation.
He stressed the importance of social security reforms "as otherwise the government could not pay pensions in five years."
As the prime minister said, 2015 ended with good news for the government and added that the government has achieved greater absorption rates of the NSRF, amounting to 5 billion euros in just three months and two billion euros in the agriculture sector.
