Early elections will not come as a surprise for main opposition

"In an environment of multiple impasses nobody can exclude the possibility of serious political development" stated main opposition New Democracy (ND) spokesman Giorgos Koumoutsakos in an interview on Sunday adding that "in this context early general elections can not be excluded and for us it will not come as a surprise".
Koumoutsakos said that ND is the first political force in the country and the only alternative solution for the people that suffocate in the era of SYRIZA's governance. He said he does not rule out President of Republic election from the people but on two conditions "its disengagement from the dissolution of the parliament and the distortion of the constitutionally guaranteed regime". Referring to the Turkey, ND spokesman said that Turkey is being "transformed into an Erdogan's regime that distances Turkey from Europe" adding that EU-Turkey's agreement on migration must continue at all costs".
