- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Another letter, this time addressed personaly to Education Minister Nikos Filis was snt by Archbishop Ieronymos.
"The case of the Church is a matter of a people and certainly not a minister," says Archbishop in his letter refering to a violation of the Constitution in the case of the changes promoted by Nikos Filis in Religious Education class.
Meanwhile, the Archbishop stresses the baseless and fictitious criticism of any opponents of the Church that it supposedly collaborated with the dictatorship.
"The official role of the Church in the dictatorship period was consistent and fair to its mission, so it completely excludes any obsessive interpretations of any critics or opponents," says Archbishop Ieronymos, in answer to the question of Mr. Filis "where was the Church during the junta? ", referencing five arguments.
