"It’s our duty to democracy not to allow the manipulation of information", stated main opposition New Democracy spokesman Giorgos Koumoutsakos in an interview to Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Sunday.
Asked if ND's position is general elections if the Council of State rules that the law for the TV licences is unconstitutional, Koumoutsakos said that "the request for elections emerged in the very gloomy environment created by the government's choices".
On the refugees’ issue, he said that prime minister Alexis Tsipras instead of ordering an in-depth investigation into former Migration Ministry secretary general Odysseas Voudouris complaints, he accepted his resignation and said that on Monday he and seven ND deputies will table a question in parliament asking for details and explanations by the government over the 'shadows' in the management of the refugee crisis.
