PM Tsipras to hold a series of international contacts

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will have a series of international contacts within this week on the occasion of the EU summit on December 15 and the European Left party congress to be held on December 16 and 17, according to government sources.
On Wednesday, Tsipras will depart for Brussels where he will meet with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades. Greece and Israel's Foreign Ministers Nikos Kotzias and Ioannis Kassoulides will also participate in the meeting.
On Thursday, he will meet with the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz. Tsipras will also meet with the French President Francois Hollande on the sidelines of the summit.
After the summit, Tsipras will visit Berlin where he will meet with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday noon. He will then meet with German Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel. In the afternoon he will meet with the leaders of the German Left Party (Die Linke) and the Greens.
On Saturday morning he will address the congress of the European Left party and then will return to Greece.
