ND: Rise in unemployment is the result of gov't inefficiency
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Main opposition New Democracy (ND) accused the government of lack of ability in dealing with the problem of unemployment, adding that the registered unemployed rose by 24,991 in December 2016 compared to the same month last year.
More specifically, it said that the negative developments in labour markets continue and this is totally a responsibility of the government which in the last two years has hindered or cancelled the planned structural changes and reforms.
According to New Democracy, the government did not present a plan nor did it take any measures for boosting employment and combating undeclared work.
