Mundial 2018: Greece bests a weak Gibraltar 4-0 in qualifiers

With an appearance that put smiles on Greek faces and an emphatic 4-0 victory over Gibraltar, Greece "locked" her participation in Russia's World Cup qualifiers the following summer.
The Greek team in front of its 15,000 friends got the "three-pointer" that she wanted and stamped its ticket for the barrage. The first Greek goal in Karaiskaki stadium came from Torosidis in the 32 'with a head shot, then Mitroglou scored in the 61' and 63 'with 2 goals, while the final 4-0 was made by Yianniotas in the 78'.
Thus, it will enter the draw on October 17, with potential opponents Switzerland, Italy, Croatia and Denmark and matches scheduled for November 9-11 and November 12-14.
