Electronic auctions: Homes under 300,000 euros will not be auctioned off

Homes worth up to 300,000 euros will be exempt from electronic auctions, expected to begin on November 29, regardless of whether they are protected by the so-called Katseli law.

According to information, Justice Minister Stavros Kontonis and bankers have reportedly reached this agreement.

In view of the launch of electronic auctions, the bankers agreed to exclude from the platform primary residences, cottages and any other type of property worth up to 300,000 euros.

According to the same information, the government is also planning to extend the Katseli law beyond 31 December 2017.
