Fourteen year old rescues three toddlers from burning house on Rhodes

Putting har life at risk, a 14-year-old in Rhodes, entered a house on fire and saved the three children who were there by themselves.
In particular, the incident happened in the settlement of Afandou in Rhodes, where under unclear conditions an apartment was engulfed by flames while three young children were in their home alone, as their parents were absent.
Fourteen yeaar old Varvara soon realized that the children were in the home, rushed in and rescued them, and a little later the house burned down.
The 14-year-old heroine spoke to Epsilon tv's "Wake Up Together" morning show and described how she saved the children.
"In my mind these days I was on a five day break from school, but I had a bad feeling and I told my parents I did not want to go. I thought something would be happen on the trip, but eventually I was wrong. Yesterday, all my parents and almost the whole neighborhood was absent. I was alone and I smelled smoke. I climbed into the house from the window, the children were shouting Fire, Fire". However, I did not care if something woulf happen to me. I chose to save three souls, three babies," said Barbara, 14, adding that her dream is to become a police officer.
