Kammenos rants over criticism for Monaco holidays

A furor has broken out broke because of a twitted response from defense minister Panos Kammenos to those who attacked him for the holiday he went on in Monaco and while the name negotiations with FYROM were underway.

Yesterday, main opposition New Democracy submitted a question to the House inviting Mr Kamenos to personally respond if his "provocative behavior", as it characterizes it "is consistent with the role of the Minister of National Defense, especially in this critical geopolitical and geostrategic period for the country". The question is signed by Vasilis Kikilias, Spyridon Adonis Georgiadis, Anastasios Dimosakis, Apostolos Veysipropoulos, and Dimitris Kyriazidis.

Indeed, the text of the question speaks of a challenge to a whole people who "is anxious about securing their lives", while it is noted that the two Greek soldiers are still for a fourth month in the prisons of Adrianople while the defense and security of the country require constant vigilance due to the intense Turkish provocations.

Panos Kammenos' response came through Twitter, with a tweet that caused a stir, as he speaks "of those that escort former fashion models to cover up lovers", "guests on the yachts of drug lords" and "Mykonos shopping that strips down their wives for a  3,000-euro beach lounge.

While in Monaco, Kammenos bumped into prince Albert, and took selfies along with his wife. This he mentions as meeting with heads of state.
