Yiannis Tafillis appointed gen sec of civil protection

The general secretary of civil protection Yiannis Kapakis on Monday tendered his resignation to Interior Minister Panos Skourletis.
Later, it was announced that Yiannis Tafillis, former director of the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) will replace Kapakis.
Kapakis submitted his resignation two weeks after the deadly wildfires in Attica with the death toll reaching 91 so far.
