The mother and sister of Australian model Sinead McNamara, who was found hanging on board a luxury yacht of Mexican billionaire Alberto Bailleres in Kefalonia, are in Greece awaiting the results of the autopsy before taking the body back to Australia.
The autopsy is expected to shed light on the causes of the 20-year-old girl’s death. Meanwhile, according to the Daily Mail, the coroner advised the relatives of the deceased to visit the morgue saying that “they should not see her in such a poor state.”
Meanwhile. after preliminary investigations, Greek Port authorities have compiled a case with all the findings including depositions by the yacht’s crew members about the fatal night last week, as well as the brief video footage captured on the security cameras which show what happened on August 29.
The Mayan Queen IV yacht of the Mexican magnate docked in the port of Argostoli of Kefalonia on August 28. The passengers of the boat disembarked a few hours after arriving and left for the island’s airport where they took off on a private plane. The body of the girl was found hanging by a rope a little before 2 am on Wednesday.
The death of the Aussie model has become the main news piece in Australian media. Many media outlets highlight a strange post she had uploaded on her social media accounts where she said her head was about to explode.
