Military UAV crashes in northern Greece

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the Greek army crashed in a plain in a non-residential area in Komotini, Thrace in north-eastern Greece on Thursday morning.
The UAV had taken off from the Komotini battalion at 8.55 am and crashed around 9 am.
According to sources, the cause of the crash was mechanical failure.
