Primera Air goes bankrupt stranding 400 tourists in Chania

It's curtain call for airline Primera Air, which is due to submit papers for bankruptcy on Tuesday 2 October 2018, leaving tourists stranded in Greece.
It is a company of the Primera Group, which has Tour Operators in Sweden (Solresor), Norway (Solia resor), Denmark (Bravo Tours) and Finland (Lomamatkat).
The news of bankruptcy hit the news late Monday afternoon, suddenly, with the result that hundreds of tourists - clients of the company are unable to go to their homelands.
On Monday evening about 400 tourists, who were to depart from Chania with Primera Air flights, are at Daskalogiannis airport and are looking for a solution to get to their homelands. It is also worth noting that at the time of bankruptcy, 400 tourists traveled to Chania with Primera Air aircraft, which landed at "Daskalogiannis".
A similar problem, with departing visitors, also exists in Zakynthos.
It is noted that the airline Primera Air carried passengers every year to several Greek destinations (Crete, Rhodes, Peloponnese, Kos, Zakynthos, Athens).
