During the year, Tsitsipas was a finalist in Barcelona and reached a masters final at the Rogers Cup in Toronto (in both he was defeated by Rafael Nadal). During the year he played and won Novak Djokovic and reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam (in Wimbledon).
