Wave of school takeovers climax in Macedonia

Very high participation recorded in Central Macedonia the student wave of reactions to the Prespa Agreement, as 35% of the schools were occupied, according to the Ministry of Education.
The ministry of education provided data on school takeovers nationwide, which reached 13.9%. Nevertheless, as explained on "makthes" by Panagiotis Anniadis, Regional Director of Education of Central Macedonia, in northern Greece the percentage was far greater. Specifically, "out of the 604 High Schools, Lyceums and vocational schools of Central Macedonia, 210 were occupied, ie 35%," noted Ananiadis.
The Regional Director, however, stated that, in order to make up the teaching hours, special measures such as the restriction of excursions and holidays are expected. The final decision on how to make up lost time will be taken by the School Boards.
In Larissa the occupations are increasing
At a time when most of the country, the climate seems to be smoother, in Larissa occupations ... are rising. Specifically, the 3rd General Lyceum was added to the 11 schools of the prefecture that were occupied, whose pupils decorated with flags the building and the playground.
The tension in Magnesia is diminishing
Meanwhile, in the Magnesia region, reactions seem to "deflate". According to information, only four Lyceums are currently under occupation, out of the 15 yesterday, Thursday, the day of the peak of the mobilizations.
