Greece day at NYSE

Τhe New York Stock Exchange meeting was dedicated to Greece, with Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura ringing Wall Steet's closing bell.
The closing ceremony of "The Day of Greece on the New York Stock Exchange" was relayed by international television networks in the United States and abroad.
It was an event with a world audience of more than 150 million. The Greek Flag was depicted on the giant screens of the Stock Exchange during the meeting and was also posted at the main entrance of Wall Street.
The event is an annual event, organized in honor of the Greek mission, the Greek listed companies in NYSE, the participating companies and operators, and is held on the next day of Capital Link's "Invest in Greece" Forum in New York.
The Minister of Tourism, Elena Kountoura and the Greek delegation were welcomed by Betty Liu, NYSE Executive Vice President. The Minister offered to the Stock Exchange a representation of a laurel wreath. The NYSE has issued special medals to commemorate the day devoted to Greece.
The Greek Consul General in New York Dr. Mr. Konstantinos Koutras, the distinguished representatives of the Group and listed companies, Messrs. Charis Kosmatos, Apostolos Tsitsirakis and Emilios Kyriakou, Mr. Nicholas Bornosis, President of Capital Link and Ms Olga Bornosi, Managing Director of Capital Link.
The Greek delegation comprised the Secretary General of Tourism Policy and Development, Mr. George Tziallas, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. the Greek National Tourism Organization Ms Angeliki Chondromatidou and Mrs. Greta Kamaterou, Head of the Greek National Tourism Organization's Office in the USA and Canada.
