Turks claim to have hacked Greek Foreign Ministry

Turkish hackers claimed they had carried out cyber attacks against the website of the Greek Foreign Ministry.
The hackers who call themselves "cyber warriors", claim to have taken down the website of the Greek Foreign Ministry Wednesday, December 26, 2018, as well as the ministry's files on national strategy.
"May one night come suddenly, our tempers have hit red. We warn those who go beyond the limits and remind them that history will one day repeat itself," they said in their internet messages, suggesting a repeat of the Asia Minor disaster.
Turkish hackers claim they broke the codes and entered Greek electronic accounts, and they even herald attacks on Greek media "if the Greek government continues to do the same."
The provocative postings of the Turks claiming to have hacked the Foreign Ministry's website came a few days after the statements of armed forces chief admiral Apostolakis. He had said that if the Turks land on a rocky islet, "we will flatter them" and the Greek Defense Minister, Panos Kammenos, had added "whoever dares to challenge our national sovereignty, our territorial integrity and international law, we will crush him, we will destroy him."
For its part, the Greek Foreign Ministry makes clear through circles that both the website and its mail have never ceased to function.
The same Greek circles also assured that if anything happens, it is handled directly by the competent services.
