Dust from the Sahara covers Crete
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
A cloud of African dust has "covered" Crete today and specifically Chania.
The transfer of dust began yesterday but was visible to the public this morning when the high loads of the microparticles had covered the atmosphere.
As flashnews.gr transmits, according to meteorologist Manolis Lekkas' forecast, the African dust will start moving eastwards to the eastern Mediterranean, while rains are expected on the island, which will cause the well-known of mud overwhelming the scenery.
