Turkey's DefMin calls for demilitarization of Greek Aegean islands

The Turkish Anadolu agency reports that "the Turkish defense minister urges his Greek counterpart to take the necessary steps to demilitarize the Aegean islands as part of honest, constructive bilateral relations."
In his statements, the Turkish defense minister says provocatively that "Greece violates international law, treaties, equipping the islands of the Aegean, which are subject to a demilitarization regime."
