Turkish diplomatic mission cars torched in Thessaloniki

Cars of the Turkish diplomatic mission, in Thessaloniki, were torched by persons unknown while parked, on Monday morning.
According to the first information from the Fire Dept the act was deliberate arson.
The vehicle was parked near the seafront of Thessaloniki on Alexandrou Avenue.
The call to the Fire Dept took place at 4:50, and two firefighter trucks rushed to the point. The vehicle was completely destroyed, and serious damage was also caused to those parked next to it.
A short time later, fire was also reported in a second vehicle of the mission of Turkish diplomacy, in a neighboring area. The second arson occurred at the junction of Calidopoulou and Soulioti streets. And in this case the one vehicle was completely burned, while two nearby vehicles were partially burned.
