Greek PM: Cyprus will have the support of Greece in any escalation of the Turkish provocations

The Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that the increasing Turkish provocations brutally violate the sovereign rights of Cypriot democracy.
The Greek PM said that during the joint statements with the President of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis after their meeting in Nicosia.
This was the first visit abroad for the new Greek PM.
As he mentioned, they discussed ways of organized response and measures to counter Turkish aggressive behavior.
Mr. Mitsotakis said that within the framework of the European institutions, Cyprus should consider the Greek support as given and any escalation of the Turkish provocations will always be addressed on a European level as well.
