Athens municipality teams removed a container of anarchist collective 'Rouvikonas' from Exarchia Square early on Friday.
Athens Mayor Costas Bakoyannis stressed the determination of the municipal authorities to improve the daily life of the citizens.
"We are determined not to let a day go to waste," he said, adding that municipal teams were improving lighting and adding greenery to public areas.
