Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will address the whole spectrum of Greek-Turkish relations during his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that will take place today on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in London. Mr. Mitsotakis will also talk about Turkey’s provocative actions during the working lunch with Donald Trump and other leaders.
“We will talk with our cards on the table. It is in Turkey’s interest to refrain from provocative actions”, declared Mr. Mitsotakis on Tuesday, who has stated that Greece knows how to defend its rights with confidence, calmness and efficiency. Government sources say that the confidence-building measures with Turkey will not freeze and the military-level technical discussions will take place in December.
