Young Albanian turns Thessaloniki apartment into cannabis retail outlet

A 29-year-old is accused of turning an apartment in Thessaloniki where police officers found more than 10kg of raw cannabis into adrug retail outlet.
The accused is an Albanian national arrested and described by the police as an "important link in the drug ring" allegedly involved in drug trafficking and selling.
The quantity of 10kg and 117g of raw cannabis seized during a police search was found under a bed. It is characteristic that in order to make it difficult to locate the drugs, the 29-year-old wrapped them in rugs and pillow cases.
In addition to cannabis, a precision electronic balance was seized and the sum of 1,200 euros estimated to come from drug trafficking. The arrested person is referred to the Thessaloniki Public Prosecutor for further processing.
