President Sakellaropoulou receives NY mayor Eric Adams

The President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou referred to the excellent Greek-US relations during her meeting with the mayor of New York, Eric Adams, on Thursday.
During the meeting at the Presidential Mansion, in the presence of Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis, Sakellaropoulou expressed her satisfaction over the progress and the achievements of the Greeks in the USA, which constitute a steady link between the two countries.
She also noted that in a period when antisemitism was constantly growing, "it is our moral duty to every day turn the memory into action."
Adams is visiting Greece on the occasion of the 2nd World Summit of Mayors against Antisemitism taking place in Athens.
