A Turkish Air Force officer has requested asylum in Greece. The Turkish official fled from Turkey to Greece and requested political asylum, according to a Sputnik source from the Greek authorities.

On Thursday, four people of Turkish nationality arrived on Thursday on Rhodes, saying that they were supporters of Fehullah Gullen and asked for political asylum. The four men traveled by boat from Bodrum in Turkey to Mandraki harbor in Rhodes.

None of the eight Turkish officers who fled to Greece requesting political asylum have not disappeared, their lawyers say unequivocally, denying a relevant publication in the British newspaper The Times.
