In past decades, most families in Greece were trying to acquire a property that would be handed down from one descendant to another, but they had no thought, then, about ENFIA (property tax) and overtaxation, and in no case would they contemplate a renunciation of heritage.
Greek lawmakers on Tuesday approved by majority the country’s 2018 budget, which the government said would be the last under bailout terms which have held the country in a stranglehold of austerity for eight years.
