Main opposition leader tables censure motion against government

Greece’s main opposition leader, former premier Alexis Tsipras, tabled a “no confidence” motion in Parliament on Thursday morning, accusing Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ center-right government of botching the state’s reaction this week to a heavy snow storm in the country, especially the greater Athens area, as well as failing to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tsipras also in the picture for the Folli Follie affair

New information referring to a "directive from Maximou Mansion" (the PM's office), when Alexis Tsipras was prime minister, for assistance to the Folli Follie jewelry firm, in May 2018, is included in the report of Price Waterhouse Coopers, which is already under scrutiny by the prosecutor.
