European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker adopted an unequivocally pro-Cyprus stance on the provocative Turkish action in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea and the violations of Cyprus’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

Turkey's provocations in the Eastern Mediterranean with regard to the Cyprus EEZ and drilling are expected to be tabled today by Cyprus and Greece at the informal European Council in Sibiu, Romania.

Six Greek-Cypriot farmers were stopped yet again by the Turkish occupying forces from going to their farms in the UN buffer zone near the village of Denia, west of Nicosia.
