N.York: Saint George feast in Manhattan

With the services of Divine Liturgy and Artoklasia was celebrated the feast of Saint George  on April 23rd, 2018 at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church (307 W 54th St, New York, NY 10019) in Manhattan.

The services were held by the Stewardship, Outreach and Evangelism Director of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and Parish Priest of the Saint George Church, Father James Kordaris, the Parish Priest of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, V. Rev. Archimandrite Father Chrysostomos Gilbert, the Lay Assistant at the Church of Our Savior in Rye, New York and Master of Divinity graduate from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox school of Theology, George Hazlaris, the Lay Assistant of Holy Trinity Cathedral in New York and graduate Master of Divinity graduate from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox school of Theology, Soteri and Chanter, John Coundouris.

During his preach, George Hazlaris, spoke about the biography of Saint George, encouraging all to stop looking for examples and start being an example: "We need to be the light of Christ, the light of Saint George to the world of 2018", he said.

Father James Kordaris thank all those who contributed to the services, as well as all those, who honored with their presence, the Saint George feast and invited them to join for a lunch at the Church's hall.
