AHI President Meets with Greek Alternate FM on Conference Sidelines

American Hellenic Institute (AHI) President Nick Larigakis met with Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Miltiades Varvitsiotis on the sidelines of the 3rd Southeast Europe & Eastern Med Conference in Washington, D.C., March 14, 2022.
“I sincerely thank Alternate Minister Varvitsiotis for a productive discussion about the important role organizations such as the American Hellenic Institute play to strengthen and advance relations between the United States and Greece,” President Larigakis said. “I also appreciated being briefed on the ongoing current developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
“The role of the Greek #diaspora in promoting national issues, enhancing Greece-United States relations and safeguarding our culture & values is crucial. Fruitful discussion with @NLarigakis, , President of the American Hellenic Institute,@TheAHIinDC,” Alternate Minister Varvitsiotis tweeted.
The conference concluded on March 15.
The American Hellenic Institute is a non-profit Greek American public policy center and think tank that works to strengthen relations between the United States and Greece and Cyprus, and within the Greek American community.
