Greek tennis is experiencing unprecedented success, as both Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2019 Italian Open in Rome after beating their opponents, Fabio. Foginni (6-4, 6-3), and Petra Kvitova (7-5, 5-7, 4-0-retired), respectively.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will face world no.3 Roger Federer, while Sakkari will meet Kristina Mladenovic.
