Two of them in the list of "trending" destinations around the world: Rhodes at number 3 in the world rankings and Santorini at number 10.
The largest of the Dodecanese complex emerged in the top three probably because it has something for all tastes. According to the travel platform, "Whether you are interested in the beaches, or the bars, or the ancient sights, Rhodes has plenty in all three."
Tripadvisor's Trending Destinations ranking includes sites that have recorded the largest increase in annual turnover, based on reviews and ratings from users of the platform.
Santorini "closes" the top ten of the list since the most recognizable Greek island could not be missing from the first places with the characteristic combination of white - blue colors and the enchanting sunsets.
But there is also a Greek presence on another list of TripAdvisor's annual Travelers ’Choice Best of the Best awards.

Traveler’s Choice Awards are determined by reviews submitted by the platform’s own travelers over a 12-month period.
And although last year was a year marked deep by the pandemic, travel traffic is expected to increase sharply - except unexpectedly and Covid will - in 2022.
