2 brothers in Queens found with homemade explosives, ghost guns, Queens DA says

The two brothers, whom the New York Post describes as wannabe anarchists, faced 130 charges.

The two brothers from Astoria wrote of some of their victims “wipe out the scum,” the disturbing note said. “Wipe out the earth,” with the lines marked as “chorus – hit list.

The two were arrested in a joint operation by the New York Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security and the Queens District Attorney's Office.

"The city is safer today. We can't imagine the lives that were saved, but we know that these weapons never harmed anyone," said prosecutor Melinda Katz.

As announced, in the apartment where the two brothers lived, eight improvised explosive devices, two loaded AR-15 carbines and two 9mm semi-automatic pistols were found, as well as 600 bullets and three bulletproof vests.

A 3D printer for making weapon parts that will not be detected has also been spotted.

The two brothers are due in court on February 15 and face up to 25 years in prison each if convicted.
