Pirates attack Greek tanker, sailors abducted

Pirates attacked a Greek tanker off the coast of Togo and took five crew members hostage, according to the West African navy.
Two of the four abducted are from the Philippines, one is Greek and two are Georgians, according to the Navy. A member of the ship’s security unit was shot and injured during the attack.
“On Monday, November 4, at approximately 3:00 pm, the tanker” Elka Aristotle “was attacked about 18 kilometers from the port of Lomé by armed men,” the statement said.
