Deputy Infrastructure, Transport and Networks Minister Dimitris Kammenos (not to be confused with ANEL party leader Panos Kammenos) who has been heavily criticised for allegedly sending a series of racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic comments through his Twitter account submitted his resignation on Wednesday evening to allow “the smooth functioning of the new government”, just hours after he was sworn in.
