SETE Reconfirms Tourism Target Stance

Today, The Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) reconfirmed its belief that this year's tourism target for 19 million travelers will succeed, even with challenges arising from a decrease in Ukrainian and Russian travelers.

The nation's leading airports each experienced a major rise in air traffic last month. As confirmed by SETE statistics over the past seven months, the largest rate rises occurred in Kalamata at 62.5%, Mykonos at 39.9%, Athens at 31%, Santorini at 26.7% and Chania with 22.9%, as reported by ANA-MPA. Athens International Airport is predicted to surpass its set target of 750,000 more travelers this year.
