Greek Unemployment Rate Declines

The unemployment rate in Greece has dropped to 25% in May, compared to 25.6% in April, according to ELSTAT statistical firm.

May's figure, which is comprised from seasonally altered information, is the lowest amount since June 2012, which had a 24.9% rate. The largest unemployment figure in Greece occurred in September 2013 and marked 27.9%.

Currently the Greek jobless figure is over twice as much as the eurozone's 11.1% May average. In the first quarter of this year, the nation's economy decreased by 0.2%, while it is predicted to enlarge by a minimal 0.5% in 2015. However, new capital control protocols have begun to reduce Greece's economic enterprises.
