Greek Unemployment Rate Decreases

The eurozone's unemployment rate dropped to 10.9% this past July, marking the first time it has deceased under 11% since February of 2012, as revealed by EU statistics firm Eurostat.

The unemployment figure held 11.1% the previous month, while the youth jobless rate still remained large at 21.9%.  Greece is still the highest member nation regarding unemployment, which stood at 25% in May. However in April, Greece's rate was 25.6%.

Germany, who has the lowest percentage, stood at 4.7% this past May. Greece's youth unemployment figure holds 51.8%. In June, the unemployment percentage for the entire EU dropped by 0.1% equalling 9.6%, which is the lowest figure in four years.
