The National Network of Chambers of Greek Women Entrepreneurs (EEDEGE) and the Incubator Athens-THEA Incubator, in collaboration with the US Market Access Center and Prospera Women, organized two workshops and round table discussions at the Konstantinos Michalos Entrepreneurship Center of the Commercial and Industrial Chamber of Athens-EVEA , on issues of innovative women entrepreneurship and women leadership in the corporate environment.

The purpose of the workshops was to exchange views and discuss with examples and practical advice, between seven women start-ups and entrepreneurs and two specialized consultants from the American market, on women entrepreneurship and business development methods and penetration into new markets.

In particular, during the two workshops lasting a total of 4 hours, issues were discussed about the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and the changing role that a woman entrepreneur now has. The interest faced by women entrepreneurs in adopting a Global Development mentality was also highlighted, while special mention was made of issues of in-house entrepreneurship and Open Innovation. Finally, there was interest in networking with Silicon Valley ecosystem leaders.

The two representatives of Prospera Women, Mr. Alfredo Coppola, Co-CEO of US Market Access Center and Mrs. Amy Peck, Co-Chair of Prospera Women, Founder of ENDEAVOR VR, also briefed the participants on the Prospera Women Leaders Program. in collaboration with Stanford University.

The President of EEDEGE and First Vice President of EVEA, Mrs. Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, pointed out characteristically: "Women's entrepreneurship must pave the way for extroversion and EEDEGE and EVEA stand by as helpers, bringing Greek businesswomen in contact with experts in the American market who have immersed themselves in the difficulties and opportunities that exist for women start-ups, making competitive and sustainable ".
