The Bank of Cyprus announced the ratification of an agreement concerning the sale of its Romanian capital, that is set to improve its liquidity by 95 million euros.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) stated in a press release today, its plans to invest an amount up to 120 million euros in the Bank of Cyprus, regarding the Bank's 1 billion euro capital increase.
The Bank of Cyprus confirmed its productive private distribution of 4.166.666.667 new ordinary shares at a price of €0.24 per share, with total gross proceeds amounting to 1 billion euros, according to Parikiaki.
