Greece to issue new 7-year bonds

The opening of the offer book for the re-issue of a 7-year title is simply just a matter of hours. Greece is sending an invitation with the aim of raising an amount of 1.5-2.5 billion euros. Conditions are the best possible, given the international turmoil. Conditions were considered appropriate after the two upgrades of the Greek economy by the rating agencies (Apr. 2022 S&P to BB +, March 2022 DBRS to BB high), the improved deficit of 2021 by Eurostat and the contribution of the French elections to the international climate.

Piraeus Bank successfully completes 500-mln-euro bond issue

Piraeus Bank on Thursday officially announced the successful issue of a 500 million euros Tier 2 bond with institutional investors at a coupon of 5.50 pct. The bond has a maturity of 10 years, an embedded issuer call option after 5 years and will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Greece plans T-bill auction

 
Greece plans to reopen its recent three- and five-year bond issues in the next two weeks, to top them up by as much as 1.5 billion euros ($1.97 billion), accepting T-bills as payment instead of cash, a senior government source told Reuters.
