The Managing Director of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) Klaus Regling warned that the debt relief measures for Greece would be suspended in the event Greece failed to continue implementing the agreed adjustment measures.

The ESM released the €1 billion sub-tranche to Greece immediately after the Greek parliament passed the omnibus bill concerning the package of measures required by the agreement between Greece and its creditors. after the Greek authorities implemented a set of pending measures.

The Head of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), Klaus Regling said Greece should continue the reforms until the completion of the current bailout programme, urging the country to maintain and expand the reforms beyond the programme.
