An international agreement for the EastMed pipeline, carrying natural gas from the East Mediterranean to Europe through Greece, was submitted to parliament on Tuesday for ratification.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG on Tuesday announced the start of operations of a 2 km section of the pipeline in Greece between the Evros river and the Kipoi compressor station.

The Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus published on Wednesday the letter dated 22/7/19 with the position expressed by the President of the Republic on the issue of hydrocarbons, which he sent to the UN Secretary-General, the President of the European Commission, the High Representative of the EU Foreign Affairs and Security Issues, with a notification to the Turkish Cypriot leader M. Akinci.
