Greece on Friday announced better-than-expected GDP figures for 2020, with the country's Gross Domestic Product contracting by 8.2 pct to 168.5 billion euros from 183.6 billion in 2019.

Nationality and ethnic origin are among the risk factors for depression among Greek women, who are more prone to suffering from the disease than either men or migrant women living in Greece, according to a survey presented in Athens on Thursday.

Over 44 percent of the Greek citizens express negative emotions such as insecurity, agony, fear, anger, despair, stress, anxiety, sorrow, bitterness, indignation due to the economic crisis.
