PM Tsipras never imagined that the cabinet meeting would be turned into a battlefield between the defense minister and Nikos Kotzias, on account of secret ministry funds.

The decision to assume the Foreign Ministry himself marks his "determination to do whatever possible to guarantee the successful completion of the historic Prespes Agreement," Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said following the resignation of Nikos Kotzias as foreign minister.

Nikos Kotzias has resigned from the post of Foreign Minister, after a row between him and Defense Minister Panos Kammenos that broke out in the cabinmet meeting on Tuesday.
